Moto E No Sound, Only Through Headphones?

Time:2018-10-16 02:49Turbochargers information Click:

moto sound Only through Headph

Reason 1: you removed headphones while running any applications which produce sounds ( ex: audio players, games, music instruments apps etc) suddenly. This may cause your mobile be in headphones mode instead of coming out from it to normal mode.

Solution: again use any sound applications (music player) through headphones. And try to remove headphones slowly( properly). This may resolve your issue.

I had this exact problem, did the service call/returns thing, and then just before I activated the replacement phone, I discovered the fix (quite accidentally) on the phone I was about to replace.

Software, in Android I guess, has the "headphones are plugged in" state (which it reads off the physical jack) WRONG! And even a factory reset doesn't clear it. But there's a simple procedure that does (if I remember it correctly) -

With the headphones plugged in, go into Settings->Volumes and change the ringer volume. That's it! Unplug the headphones, and I'll bet your built-in speaker works again.

I just got a moto e through republic wireless about a month ago. It hasn't any problems up until now. No sound will play through the speakers or earpiece. But sound comes through my headphones perfectly fine. When I unplug them though I have no sound, no alerts nothing. I have tried everything. Turning up volume, unplugging and re-plugging the headphone jack multiple times, cleaning the headphone port. Please help!:fou:

This is a a known problem with moto E since you purchased it just a month back just ask for a replacement also you will be facing auto reboot, charger gets heated up,Emergency service blocked are some of the known issues,

Before taking your mobile to service center you can try performing the soft reset if it is not working you can try hard reset from the steps below,

Factory reset:

1.Unlock your phone and tap ‘menu’
2.Go to ‘settings’ then ‘backup and reset’
3.From there, select ‘factory data reset phone’
4.Agree with the prompts that appear on your screen
5.Select ‘reset phone’.

Hard Reset:

1.Start by turning off your phone – simply press the power button and select ‘power off’ on the menu.
2.Enter the Moto E ‘fastboot’ mode by pressing the power button and volume down key at the same time for six to seven seconds. Release when the fastboot mode menu is displayed.
3.From fastboot mode, use the volume down and up buttons to scroll through the menu.
4.Select your ‘recovery’ option and select by pressing down the power button.
5.From ‘recovery’ choose ‘wipe data factory reset’
6.You can choose to wipe the cache partition on your phone also from the main menu of recovery by picking ‘advanced’ then selecting ‘wipe dalvick cache’

I was facing the low earpiece volume issue after using earphone with apps. Fix like this.
Search for option in volume setting>Hearing aid compatibility >Deselect it.
