Local obituaries were published Sunday, Nov. 9 for: Susan T. Keizer, 53, of Norwood; and Thomas Raymond Ryan, formerly of Foxboro.

Susan T. Keizer, 53

NORWOOD - Susan T. Keizer, 53, passed on Nov. 5, 2014 in the Milford Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late David W. Keizer.

Born in Norwood on Dec. 6, 1960, she was a daughter of Charlotte L. (Pretto) McCall of Franklin and the late Philip F. McCall, Sr.

Susan was educated in Norwood schools and was a graduate of Norfolk County Agricultural High School. She worked at Wiggins Airways in Norwood in earlier days, and was currently an assistant accountant for the Town of Dover. She enjoyed gardening, caring for her flowers, and camping. She also loved her trips to Ogunquit, Maine.

Susan will be dearly missed by her daughter, Ashley M. Keizer of Norfolk, her sister Barbara Smith and her significant other Steve Dauthinee of South Dennis, niece Kelli Smith, nephew Adam Smith, and great-niece Brooklyn Smith, her sister Jean Maresco of Norwood, and nephew Dylan Maresco, her brother James McCall and his wife Kelly of Kissimmee, Fla., and nephews Jake McCall and Ryan McCall, her brother Philip F. McCall Jr. and his wife Natalie of Walpole, and nephews Daniel McQuillan Jr. and Jacob McCall.

Susan was the loving companion of Robert Coffin of Brockton and sister-in-law of Debra Keizer of Blackstone. Also survived by her beloved dog Emily.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South St., Wrentham, followed by a prayer service at 8 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held in the funeral home on her birthday, Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 at 1 p.m.

Thomas Raymond Ryan

HOMOSASSA, Fla . - Thomas Raymond Ryan, formerly of Foxboro, passed away suddenly Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014 in Homosassa, Fla.

Thomas was born on Oct. 9, 1946 in Norwood, the loving son of the late Raymond and Esther (Hilchey) Ryan. He attended Foxboro High School in the Class of 1964.

Tom was self-employed as a HVAC technician at Ryan Repair Service before his retirement in 2004.

He married his wife Kathleen "Kate" (Kelley) on Dec. 7, 1969 at St Mary's Church in Foxboro. Both Tom and his wife Kate were active communicants at St. Mary's Church in Foxboro and St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Homosassa, Fla.

Tom was a member of the Citrus Elks Club in Homosassa and was a former member of the Wrentham Sportsmen's Club.

He loved gardening, golf and was just a great home guy.

Tom served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

Along with his wife Kathleen "Kate," Tom is survived by his children Colleen Cannata and her husband Jim of Foxboro, Kelly Laws and her husband Garrett of Somerville, and Elizabeth Harrington of Foxboro; and six grandchildren: Katie, Joey and Jimmy Cannata, Gwen and Cameron Laws and Mackenzie Harrington. In addition he is also survived by brothers James of Medfield, Daniel, William of Goshen, Alabama, and a sister, Kathleen McCollough of Oregon.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, Nov. 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St., Foxboro.

A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 58 Carpenter St., Foxboro. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 58 Carpenter St., Foxboro.
