Honeywell Names Thomas A. Szlosek Vice President Corporate Controller

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 1, 2004--Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced today that Thomas A. Szlosek will join the company as Vice President Corporate Controller, effective today. As Corporate Controller, Szlosek will be responsible for Honeywell's accounting policies and procedures and all external financial reporting. Szlosek will report to Chief Financial Officer, Dave Anderson and become an officer of the company. He succeeds John Tus who became Vice President and Treasurer in October 2003.

"Tom brings a wealth of operating experience and technical capability to the Corporate Controller role," said Anderson. "Tom's experience includes significant operating finance assignments in large-scale industrial businesses in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He has demonstrated effective leadership on a number of key initiatives."

Most recently, Szlosek served as Chief Financial Officer for General Electric's European Consumer Finance group, with full responsibility for all financial, accounting, and procurement operations. Prior to serving as Chief Financial Officer-Europe, he served in various leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer of GE Medical Systems in Asia. From 1985 to 1996 Szlosek was with PriceWaterhouse, a predecessor company to PriceWaterhouse Coopers, rising to the position of Senior Audit Manager.

Szlosek holds a B.S. in accounting from the State University of New York, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
