Your starting point? This 1988 Cordia Turbo in Florida, which wasn't even bid up to a grand at the time of this writing. It has been in storage for more than half of its life. In the words of its seller, "Back in '99, I placed this car in my garage. At the time it was running with no problems. But needed new constant velocity joints installed. So I decided not to spend money on repairs at that point in time."

That's right, this car ran when parked! All you need to do is replace every component that ever touched fluid, fix every corroded electrical connector in the car, change all of the transmission gaskets and oil seals, and then prepare the engine to accept a Florida hurricane's worth of boost. Easy!
